What is Contract Manufacturing in Pharma?
Contract manufacturing in Pharma is a business model wherein you hire another company to produce assemblies, components, or goods. Most think of contract manufacturing as outsourcing, where the contract manufacturer agrees with a third-party service provider. If you are considering contract manufacturing to support your business, grow your operations, and increase your revenue, here's how to choose a partner.

I stopped by Renaissance Lakewood, LLC (RenPharm) on Paco Way, and first of all — the place looks mamash sharp. Clean, modern building, clear signage, and the whole vibe feels organized and professional from the second you pull in. Parking is easy (baruch Hashem), and it’s not one of those spots where you’re circling like it’s Erev Yom Tov in a packed plaza. Inside, it felt like a real business operation — not chaotic, not “who do I speak to,” not that whole runaround. The staff I interacted with came across polite and respectful, and even when things are moving with a serious “we’re working” pace, you still feel like a human being and not just a number. Now, I’m not here to make believe I know all the behind-the-scenes pharma stuff (that’s for the professionals), but from a visitor/customer standpoint, it felt well-run, tidy, and efficient — the kind of place where you can tell there’s a system and people are on top of it. Bottom line: nice facility, convenient location, and a generally smooth experience. If you need to come here for business, deliveries, or anything official, it’s a solid, no-nonsense place that feels put together. If you want, tell me what your visit was for (delivery? appointment? interview? picking something up?) and I’ll tailor it to sound even more “you.”
